Instant Pot AIP Paleo Chicken Fennel Soup Recipe

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 30 minutes

Total Time: 50 minutes

Yield: 6 to 8 servings

Instant Pot AIP Paleo Chicken Fennel Soup Recipe

Wonderfully nourishing soup to help promote wellness.


  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast or/and thighs, cut into chunks
  • 1 large bulb fennel, chopped
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 1 cup chopped kale or spinach
  • 3 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped
  • 2 cups chicken or bone broth
  • 4 cups filtered water
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt


  1. Add all ingredients to Instant Pot.
  2. Place lid on pot.
  3. Press Soup button. (Be sure it's set to 30 minutes cook time)
  4. When cooking has stopped, allow pot to release pressure naturally for 10 minutes.
  5. Open lid.
  6. Serve.


This soup may be frozen.
