One of the foods I miss the most, since going on the AIP, is BBQ Pork Fried Rice from my local Chinese restaurant. It was one of my absolute favorite foods. I grew up eating a lot of greens. We had mustard greens, collard greens, turnip greens…oh, wait, I’m starting to sound like Forrest Gump, talking about shrimp. My point is, we ate greens at many of our meals. One of my favorites, AIP Paleo Turnip Greens with Pork recipe, is adapted from my childhood. My grandmother, Ma, used to cook her turnip greens with little chunks of turnip. The flavor mixture was earthy, with a bite of bitter.
