When I was first diagnosed with lupus (SLE) and psoriasis in 2013, I was in pretty bad shape. I had widespread inflammation throughout my body, causing symptoms like stomach ulcers, rashes, hair loss, chronic lung and kidney infections, bleeding, and so much more. After a course of Prednisone, I gained 30 pounds and a bunch of other nasty symptoms. I decided I couldn’t continue to watch my health decline anymore.
