Well, it’s seems it’s time to dust off my slow cooker, and put it to good use again. Since getting my Instant Pot, I really haven’t used my slow cooker very often. Cooking foods in half the time has become both necessary and more attractive to me. But, to really get the most out of my batch cooking sessions, I’m bringing my slow cooker back into service.
One of my favorite foods to cook in my slow cooker is short ribs. I mean, who doesn’t love short ribs? They’re inexpensive, easy to eat and mighty tasty. When I found some beautiful fresh plums at my local health food grocer, I immediately knew I wanted to create a sweet dish with short ribs. These short ribs in plum sauce are tangy and sweet. Cooked in your slow cooker, these short ribs will be falling off the bones tender. You could serve this dish over cauliflower rice, kelp noodles, yam noodles or zoodles.
So, in the next couple of months, you’re going to be able to find me almost everywhere. I have three guest posts, two interviews, and recipes in Paleo Magazine Readers Favorites Holiday Cookbook and Paleo Living Magazine. I’m pretty sure there’s more; but, I can’t remember everything at this particular moment. Plus, I’m working on bringing you awesome meal plans and fitness programs in January. There are going to be amazing changes to Paleo Cajun Lady in the new year. I hope you all stick with me until then.
As always, I wish you good health…….and, good food!
