I know many of you are interested in starting up a fitness program to help in your healing protocol. It wasn’t until I added exercise to my healing protocol that I was able to send my lupus into remission.

Many studies have shown that moderate to heavy exercise can suppress your immune system.  Well, if you suffer from autoimmune disease, your immune system is in overdrive. It made sense to me, that if I wanted to heal myself, I would need to suppress my overactive immune system. I started off slowly, with a fitness and nutrition program (based on the AIP), I created myself.  Once I had built up my endurance and strength, I went searching for a fitness program, I could do at home, that would help me to really get my body back into shape.  That’s when I found Beachbody and P90X3!

Now I know this may come as a surprise to many of you; but, I have been working out with Beachbody programs since August. I have completely reshaped my body and my health. That has helped my decision to partner with them, as a Team Beachbody Coach.

Right now, I am building a new website, Tara’s Healing Home, which will focus on all facets of healing at home.  You can read more about it HERE.  I will be offering customized meal plans and “Getting Started” fitness programs, especially for those of us with autoimmune disease.  In the next couple of weeks, I will be starting early enrollment signup, for those of you who want to start the new year with a bang. But, for those of you who are itching to start your fitness programs now, whether you have autoimmunity or not, I wanted to share this great opportunity to have me as your fitness coach through Beachbody.
