Wow, what a busy weekend I had. Yesterday was my stepson Jon’s college graduation. Today, of course, was Mother’s Day. Trying to make sure all the Mothers in my life were properly appreciated was a full time job. Fortunately, I was able to relax for part of the day.

I opted out of going out to brunch today. After yesterday, I really just wanted to eat at home. Today, I was experiencing a little flare up of one of my rashes and pain in my hip joint. I don’t think it was something I ate yesterday. I just think it was a combination of the stress of the day, and sitting too much. I didn’t want to aggravate the flare.
What did I eat today on The 21-Day Sugar Detox?

My lunch was scrambled eggs with cilantro, cumin, and garlic powder. I tossed some bacon slices and a little guacamole on top. Yum!

At dinner, I reheated a portion of the rib roast I cooked last week (It was frozen). I made some mashed cauliflower and a mushroom gravy. Usually, I’ll use arrowroot powder to thicken my gravy; but, that’s not allowed on The 21-Day Sugar Detox. Instead, I used a tablespoon of chia seeds. It was a little more gelled than usual, but not bad. It was actually a pretty awesome dinner.
Tomorrow’s post, I will announce a giveaway on the blog! I’ll also be writing about supplements I take while doing The 21-Day Sugar Detox. So, if you’re curious about good supplements, be sure to check it out.
