Day eighteen of The 21-Day Sugar Detox is coming to a close! I’m really looking forward to adding more fruit to my daily diet. I’m not going to begin adding new foods, such as nightshades and raw cheeses, for at least another nine days. I don’t want to jump into anything too quickly. I’ll stick with safe foods for now.
I do have some exciting news for you. I’m finalizing the details on my first cookbook. It’s going to contain my favorite recipes from this blog and a few new ones. That way, you’ll have all of my recipes in one place. It will be available in print and ebook editions. I’ll have more information for you as it becomes available.
Also, I’m working on some printables for you, detailing foods to eat and avoid on the paleo diet, how to plan meals, and special AIP paleo guidelines. It’s about to get really busy over here!
What did I eat on day eighteen of The 21-Day Sugar Detox?

For lunch, I had two hot dog wraps. I wrapped Applegate Organic franks, sauerkraut, and spicy mustard in Paleo Wraps. Easy lunches are my favorite.

Dinner was all breakfast foods! I had farm fresh, fried eggs with Applegate Bacon and Breakfast sausages. I’m so excited to be able to find Applegate products, out here in the boonies. Joe Caputo & Sons Fruit Market just started carrying the entire line. I couldn’t be happier about it. Plus, they have a pretty decent selection of organic produce and products, and gluten free products.
Only three more days left! Tomorrow night, I have an awesome recipe for you. Be sure to check back!
Question of the day: Is it hard to find good organic or gluten free products where you live?
