I usually order my sugar free breakfast sausage from Door To Door Organics- Chicago. It’s crafted by a small, local, organic farm. If you can’t find sugar free sausage, you can make your own. Bre’anna has an awesome recipe in her cookbook, He Won’t Know It’s Paleo. Or, you can use ground pork instead.

This Breakfast Sausage & Sweet Potato Skillet Recipe is a great go-to batch cooking recipe, too. I usually can get two to three servings out of it. Of course, I tend to eat large servings; so, you could probably get more. It can be refrigerated or frozen.

I know I seem to go on and on about the importance of batch cooking. I only do it because I think it’s one of the best things you can do to ensure your success on the AIP. If you always have food available to you, your chances of grabbing something not AIP is very low. For those of you who may not know where to begin, Mickey Trescott, of Autoimmune Paleo, has put together an amazing video program, that teaches you how to batch cook an entire week’s worth of foods. You can get more information here.
