Y’all know how much I love one skillet meals! Well, this week’s recipe is one of my favorites, Breakfast Sausage & Sweet Potato Skillet Recipe.
I usually order my sugar free breakfast sausage from Door To Door Organics- Chicago. It’s crafted by a small, local, organic farm. If you can’t find sugar free sausage, you can make your own. Bre’anna has an awesome recipe in her cookbook, He Won’t Know It’s Paleo. Or, you can use ground pork instead.
This Breakfast Sausage & Sweet Potato Skillet Recipe is a great go-to batch cooking recipe, too. I usually can get two to three servings out of it. Of course, I tend to eat large servings; so, you could probably get more. It can be refrigerated or frozen.
I know I seem to go on and on about the importance of batch cooking. I only do it because I think it’s one of the best things you can do to ensure your success on the AIP. If you always have food available to you, your chances of grabbing something not AIP is very low. For those of you who may not know where to begin, Mickey Trescott, of Autoimmune Paleo, has put together an amazing video program, that teaches you how to batch cook an entire week’s worth of foods. You can get more information here.
Also, for those of you who need help beginning the AIP, Angie Alt‘s SAD To AIP in 6 Program, is accepting new members NOW. You can get more information here. It’s a great program that helps you transition from your typical diet to the AIP in six weeks. You can learn everything you need to know!
If you purchased the Autoimmune Wellness Bundle, you have discount coupon codes for both of those amazing programs. Use them! You will not be sorry you did.
Hope you enjoy my easy, AIP Paleo Breakfast Sausage & Sweet Potato Skillet Recipe!
As always, I wish you good health……and, good food!
