Well, my week guest hosting the Autoimmune Paleo Instagram page is over. I had a lot of fun; but it was very time consuming. While I was guest hosting, I posted a photo of my Baked Apples with Maple Cinnamon Ice Cream. Followers went nuts over it, and asked me to post the recipe. This is something I’ve made for my hubby and myself for a while; so, I never thought anyone would want it as a recipe. Sometimes, we think the simple dishes we create are not recipe worthy. This has given me a whole new perspective on posting recipes. I will now include simple recipes in my postings. Plus, this is a treat recipe, which I hardly ever post. It’s a win-win!
On Friday, I will be hosting a Virtual Book Tour for Angie Alt, author of the amazing The Alternative Autoimmune Cookbook. I will post a review of her cookbook, along with photos of some of the dishes I cook from it. I will also be doing a giveaway of her lovely book. It’s available in ebook here, and print here. I hope you join us for this epic event. There’s no driving or crowds to fight off. Everyone gets a front row seat! If you have any questions you would like Angie to answer, leave them in a comment. I will ask her the question for you, and get you an answer. Isn’t that cool?!
So, be sure to come back and see me on Friday! It’s going to be an exciting day! Oh, and I hope you enjoy your Baked Apples with Maple Cinnamon Ice Cream treat!
