I know many of you will be getting some of your last grilling in over the Labor Day weekend. I know I will be!
For those of us eating AIP, it can be difficult to find flavorful substitutions for the usual BBQ foods we used to enjoy ( more so when we were eating them, not afterwards). So, for us, I created this recipe for Asian Inspired Grilled Chicken Breasts. They’re so tasty, you won’t even miss that old BBQ stuff. It’s a simple marinade, made with fresh ingredients. Your taste buds will be pleased.
Also, I’d like to share a couple of tips to make your grilling experience safer for you. The grill can be a dangerous place for those of us who can’t have nightshades. Be sure whoever is grilling places your food in it’s own special place. They should be warned against placing your food where BBQ sauce can contaminate it. I always use different grilling utensils than what is used on other foods. Even the tiniest bit of nightshade-laden sauce can cause a reaction in those with autoimmune issues.
