When my good friend, Eileen Laird, told me she was releasing a new book in January, I was so excited. For those of you who may not know Eileen, she is the mastermind behind Phoenix Helix, and author of one of my favorite AIP resources, Reintroducing Foods on The Autoimmune Protocol. Her new book, A Simple Guide To The Paleo Autoimmune Protocol, is the key so many of us, in the autoimmune community, have been missing. And, you can get it in a printed version!
A Simple Guide To The Paleo Autoimmune Protocol, takes everything that is complicated about the AIP, and breaks it down into easy to follow steps. If your head starts spinning every time you read about starting and following the AIP, you need this book. Sometimes, we get paralyzed by too much info. This can cause us not to make the changes we need to make, in order to heal our autoimmunity. This book will make that transition easy and effective for you.
You will, as I have, consider Eileen to be your AIP guardian angel, as she walks you through the most difficult aspects of the Autoimmune Protocol. She’ll gently guide you through situations like foods to eat and avoid, and why; traveling on the AIP; and dealing with holiday eating. One of my favorite chapters in A Simple Guide To The Paleo Autoimmune Protocol, is Overcoming Self-Sabotage. Many times, I believe, we are our worst enemies. We allow the voices in our heads, and fear to sabotage our efforts. This chapter will give you actionable tips you can use to overcome those nasty saboteurs.
To celebrate the release of A Simple Guide To The Paleo Autoimmune Protocol, Eileen asked me to join her and a couple of our other AIP buddies, to speak about our favorite aspects of her book, and about our own health journeys, on her amazing podcast. You can listen in to what we had to say HERE. In the podcast, you will learn, if you haven’t already, AIP is not just about the food. We all have different pitfalls and strengths when following the AIP. Eileen thoughtfully discusses these pitfalls, and how to avoid them, inside her new book.
So, you can keep struggling, or avoiding the AIP altogether, because you think it’s too complicated. Or, you can get A Simple Guide To The Paleo Autoimmune Protocol, and breeze right through your AIP journey to health.
There are never any guarantees when it comes to your health. I can’t tell you that you’ll put your autoimmunity into remission, if you follow the AIP. But, I can tell you about my success on putting my lupus and psoriasis into remission, by following the Autoimmune Protocol. Eileen can tell you of her success in calming her symptoms to the point where she is doing all of the activities she thought she’d never do again. I can tell you of the many friends and followers, who have found success with the AIP. Take your health into your own hands, folks. You just ran out of excuses, because A Simple Guide To The Paleo Autoimmune Protocol, just made the AIP easy for everyone to follow.
As always, I wish you good health……and, good food!
